I completely agree with you. This piece was more of a write-up of a few experiences I’ve had engaging with various people across the years, not just the past month.

I respect anyone's choice to not be public on social media about what they’re learning or how they’re reviewing their own ways of showing up in the world in light of global events and pervasive structures. But you are right when you say there is a segment of the movement that does create anxiety and fear in others if they do decide to be silent.

Everyone is still learning.
