I couldn’t agree more with your comments about employers being like Dating Sites! I’ve personally experienced this after an interview when I was told the company had decided not to progress with recruitment as after meeting candidates they felt they needed someone for a different role. I suppose good they had that insight and didn’t make an unnecessary hire that wouldn't meet their real business needs, but a frustrating waste of time none-the-less.
