Thanks for taking the time to read and share your experiences, Gregg. I’m so sorry to hear about the ageism you experienced and it’s impact on your health.

I’ve worked with many mature professionals in my field too, and it is alarming to see how prevalent the stigma around hiring ‘older’ workers is in many places. I wish had better answers for solving these issues but I know there is currently a lot of research happening in this area as we continually move towards having an older median age in the workforce.

Here’s hoping we start to see this imbalance addressed in the near future.
